If you've got a couple broken or cracked window panes, they can be easily replaced. All you'll need to do is call a local window installation company and have them come out to replace the damaged panes.
When It's a Good Idea to Replace
There may be times when you simply want to replace your old windows. There may be nothing wrong with them other than the fact that they've outlived their usefulness. Here are a couple of situations where it's a good idea to replace your old windows.

Glass Is Outdated and Flimsy
If your windows are so old that the glass has become flimsy, such as when you gently press on the glass it gives way, you've got to replace them.
Glass Isn't Impact Resistant
If your home is often subjected to gale force winds, and you don't have impact windows, replacement has become a must. Contact a window contractor near you and have them replaced.
